Did you make all of this yourself?

All designs and layouts are created in-house by Jourdyn. Some designs incorporate commercially licensed illustrations purchased from independent artists and design platforms. All clipart used is licensed for commercial use.
When does my letter ship each month?

Letters ship on the second Monday of every month. A cutoff date applies each month - usually the FIRST Monday of each month - if you subscribe after the cutoff, your first letter will ship the following month. Keep an eye on your email for cutoff announcements!
My letter never arrived — what do I do?

We're so sorry to hear that! Letters occasionally experience delays or get lost in transit with USPS. If your letter hasn't arrived within 3 weeks of the ship date please reach out to us at theastronomerspost@gmail.com and we'll get a replacement sent out to you right away.
Is this suitable for kids?

The Astronomer's Post is written for a general audience and is astronomy and mythology themed. The letters are written from the perspective of a fictional traveler exploring the cosmos, so while there's nothing inappropriate, some mythology content may reference themes that are better suited for older readers. We'd recommend it for ages 12 and up, but younger kids who love space will likely enjoy it too!
Can I cancel anytime?

Yes! You can cancel your subscription at any time with no fees or penalties. Simply log into your account at theastronomerspost.com to manage your subscription. If you have any trouble please don't hesitate to reach out and we'll help you right away.

Who we are

The Astronomer's Post was created by Jourdyn — a lover of mythology, astronomy, and the magic of real mail. What started as a dream became a monthly labor of love, assembled by hand with help from her very patient husband, David, who has become an unofficial expert in envelope sealing and moral support.

Every letter is written, designed, and packed with intention. Because we believe the cosmos deserves more than a textbook. It deserves a story.
